Beauty Hacks to make Your Life Easier

Today, I am so excited to be sharing some of my favourite makup and beauty hacks. I LOVE makeup, but the price of quality makeup is veryy pricy! To make the most out of your makeup, there are several clever hacks that I have been using over the last few years.

Concealer is an amazing thing! Lots of girls use it whether its for under the eyes or covering up spots or both. This hack is using concealer in a different way shape under the eyes. First you apply the concealer in a V shape or an upside down A under your eye. Next you apply it in the inner tear duct of the eye in a slight C shape. This brightens the eye much more then just underneath!
Mascara is a must for makeup either for beginners or professionals. But the only down side is it lasts only a few months before Bang! Dry and clumpy.. Especially if it is an expensive mascara and an essential in your everyday routine. But fear no more because hot water can do wonders for that old mascara at the bottom of your makeup bag. It is really simple and I’m surprised it isn’t a well known beauty fact! Just pour some hot water in a cup and drop your closed mascara bottle in. Leave it in there for about 1 – 2 minutes, and your old, clump mascara should now have a creamy consistency. Speaking of mascara, when when you have zero mascara left in an old bottle then this hack applies to you! The wand of the mascara is actually what we want to use. I’ve used this hack before and I love it. Take the wand of an old mascara bottle and soak it in hot water. Leave it there for about 2 minutes. Then take a washcloth and run it through the wand gently to get some of the mascara off. Then put some dish soap in some clean warm water and leave it there for and hour or so. Run the wand under warm running water and dry. If you still have some mascara left on the wand, try using some makeup remover to gently scrub away. You now have a great eyebrow brush, eyelash de-clumper and lip exfoliator!
