Good Evening everyone!
Today is going to be a super cozy post, and I wanted to share with you some really warm and comforting ways to really cozy up your home for the cooler months leading up to the holiday season. These are some really simple tips that I like to do as soon as October rolls around, and they are great ways to transition your home or bedroom for winter. Some of them are super simple, but even adding the smallest touches can change your mood and your home's atmosphere.
So, grab your favourite tea while you read the post, and I hope you enjoy!
Sincerely,
Rebecca xx
~Add soft textures~
One of the very first things I like to do to bring in some warmth into my bedroom and make it more cozy is to bring out all of my softest pillows and throw blankets. Adding simple accessories to your room, like a festive pillow and a fake fur blanket draped over the bed can add some texture to your room, making it soft and cozy.

~Burn some festive and warming candles~
Now is my absolute favourite time to burn candles, and I always love trying new ones. There are literally dozens of candles to choose from at Bath and Body Works, and I guarantee you will find a scent you love. However, make sure there is a sale going on at B&BW so that you can save some money on candles, because the price adds up really quick!

~Do a little Christmas Baking~
One of my favourite things to do at Christmas is baking with my mom. We have done it for years, and we normally take “orders” from our family and friends, and put the money we have earned towards our annual family missions trip. Some of the treats that we bake include Nanimo Bars (my favourite!!), coconut macaroons, biscotti, sugar cookies, almond roca, and shortbread.
Here are the recipes to some of these desserts :)

~Hang twinkling lights~
This last one is definately my favourite. Hanging up little twinkling lights adds such coziness to any room, and makes it more elegant and relaxing. I have strung some small Christmas lights to the end of my bed, and there is nothing better than cuddling up with some tea, while reading a book and just my twinkling lights shining. Here are some from amazon that are similar to the ones that I have.
